The weekend is screaming by quickly. I was actually bold enough to go out shopping on Black Friday, but only after the majority of the crazies had burned themselves out and gone home. We head to the mall about 4pm, and it isn't bad at all. No real purpose to our madness, but rather just an opportunity to get out of the house. Have I mentioned we are opting out of the holiday this year? Not going to buy gifts for everyone, and aren't expecting anything in return. It's an oddly freeing experience. It's so easy to get sucked back in though. You feel obligated to buy yourself into the poor house, but we're standing tough. And now, more leftovers!
