The spouse starts the grand plan of an MBA tonight. It starts out innocuous enough with a dinner. You're supposed to dress for dinner. I see this as an assignment in itself. Are you savvy enough to know how to appropriately dress for dinner? Being in law school I see it as an interview. While you are accepted for the course, you're interviewing among your peers by dressing the part. For guys, the conundrum comes in on whether you're supposed to wear a jacket. For women, should it be a skirt? I say, overdress. Short of black tie, you'll be okay in full business attire. You can always ditch the jacket, but you can't dress up if you don't have one with you. And of course, if you look like a million bucks, you carry a certain image when you enter a room. I have faith that the spouse will look like a million bucks.
